Social media posts shared a screenshot of an article attributed to Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in which he says “we should means-test pensions”.

But no such article has been published by Mr Farage, and the screenshot appears to be an altered version of the mobile view of an unrelated story.

It’s been claimed Donald Trump tweeted in 2012 that the president should be “impeached immediately” if the Dow Jones stock market index drops 1,000 points in two days.

Josh MacAlister MP has corrected a claim that more than 24,000 people have been “deported” during Labour’s first months in government.

This figure refers to the total number of immigration returns carried out between 5 July 2024 and 22 March 2025, not all of which were official ‘deportations’.
